The brief
Day oneYou fill in the project form, or we talk it through and write it up for you. It takes about ten minutes and there is no obligation attached to it.
What we need
Ten minutes and an honest description of the problem.
What you get
A written brief back within 24 hours, plus a straight answer on whether we are the right studio for it.
Scope and price
Days two to fourWe turn the brief into a fixed scope: exactly what is included, what is explicitly not, and one price. If we think the budget is wrong for the ambition, we say so before you commit.
What we need
A decision, and any missing detail we flag.
What you get
A written scope, a fixed fee, and an honest timeline in weeks.
Design and build
Weeks one to three, typicallyDesign and engineering happen together rather than in sequence, by the same people. You see real working pages early instead of flat pictures of pages, so feedback lands while it is still cheap to act on.
What we need
Content where you have it, and feedback at each checkpoint.
What you get
Working previews as they are built, and copywriting where you need it.
Review
Before launchYou get a private preview link to share with whoever needs to approve it. Comments come back in one place, we work through them, and nothing goes live until you are satisfied.
What we need
Your notes, gathered in one round where possible.
What you get
Revisions, plus checks on speed, accessibility and every screen size.
Launch
Launch dayWe handle the domain, the DNS records and the switchover. If the site is replacing an existing one, we plan it so there is no downtime and no lost email.
What we need
Domain access, or permission for us to guide your provider.
What you get
The full technical switchover and a check that everything works afterwards.
After
Ongoing, optionalYou own everything: the code, the accounts, the files. If you want us to host and maintain it, there is a plan for that. If you would rather take it elsewhere, we hand it over cleanly and wish you well.
What we need
Nothing, unless you want ongoing support.
What you get
A complete handover, and a care plan only if you actually want one.
How we operate
Four rules we hold to.
Fixed scope, fixed price
You know the number before we start. We do not bill by the hour, so nobody is incentivised to work slowly.
One team, no handoffs
The people who design it are the people who build it. Nothing is lost in translation between two agencies.
You own the result
Code, accounts, domains and files are yours from the outset. We do not hold anything hostage to keep you.
We will tell you no
If a smaller build would serve you better, or the timeline is unrealistic, you will hear it early rather than after the invoice.
Start at stage one.
Ten minutes on the brief, an honest answer within a day, and no obligation either way.
